Security Officers Recruitment and Selection

When a vacancy occurs in the organization, the position is first advertised in house for one week and in the interval the job description will be revised. If there are applicants from within the organization, interviews are arranged with the qualified ones. If no suitable applicant applies, then the advertisement is placed in the Press.

Interviews and new assignments are conducted by the Operations Manager and in his absence, the Managing Director. All new assignments will be reviewed one month after placement with the Supervisor.

Consideration will be afforded to issues around deportment, professionalism and time-keeping. Based on the discussion with the Supervisor, a decision will be made as to whether the officer will remain, move or fail the probationary period of three (3) months.
