Security Officer Guidelines
Security Officers must report to their assigned location at least fifteen (15) minutes before rostered duty, to ensure that briefing sessions are conducted.
- Security Officers must use the location’s telephone to contact A & C on assuming and concluding duties at the said location.
- Security Officers must be fully alert at all times.
- Security Officers must not use the location’s telephone for personal reasons.
- Security Officers must have the Log Book inspected and signed by the visiting Manager and/or Supervisor of A & C.
- Security Officers must be attired in the full uniform of A & C and it must be worn correctly at all times.
- Security Officers must be alert at all times of the surroundings of the location and must not report for duty under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Security Officers must not use mobile devices nor any other form of electronic devices whilst on duty.
- Security Officers must be courteous and professional to the Management, Staff, Visitors and any other individuals at the location.
- Security Officers must be equipped of the contact information of all administrative staff in the event of emergencies.
- Security Officers must be knowledgeable of all staff changes.
- Security Officers must report the status of his/her post to the office of A & C at intervals during the day and every two (2) hours during the night.
- Security Officers must ensure that all respective Log Books are maintained in good condition.
- Security Officers must not leave their post before being relieved by the relief officer or instructed to do so by the Supervisor or Operations Manager of A & C.
- Security Officers must not accept nor offer bribery and/or gifts from employees, visitors and/or any other individuals of the location.
- Security Officers must report all matters of disrespect and/or abuse by employees, visitors and/or any other individuals of the location to the Management.
- Security Officers are not permitted to work in excess of 24 hours under no circumstances.
