Alfred John - Operations Manager
Mr. Alfred John, Operations Manager is a 26-year veteran of the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) in London. At the Met, he held managerial responsibilities in finance (under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002) and in human resources. He has practiced employment law and featured in a variety of high profile cases on issues around equality. In 2006 he was elected Chairman of the Metropolitan Black Police Association, the UK’s largest police association. During his 4-year tenure, he managed sensitive security issues both within the service and communities served by the MPS while maintaining open lines of communication with the most senior U.K. police officers, local and national government officials, Mayors of London and Members of Parliament. Notably, on the 10-year anniversary of the infamous murder of the young black teenager, Stephen Lawrence, Alfred presented evidence to the U.K. Home Affairs Select Committee on the Service’s progress in the area of race relations. A consummate diplomat, Alfred continues to use his experience to the benefit of Neptune Mobile and its customers.
